From The 5 Types of Wealth by Sahil Bloom
“You’ll achieve much more by being consistently reliable than by being occasionally extraordinary.”
—
(The 5 Types of Wealth)Last month, I finished reading "The 5 Types of Wealth," an Instant New York Times bestseller, and the ideas in the book have stuck with me.
This guide is a collection of thoughts I jotted down while reading the book, with one exercise for each wealth type. I am making it easy to access your Wealth Suite wherever you go.
Let’s begin.
Table of Contents
Time Wealth
“Time is the most valuable asset in your life.”
Time is the only resource you cannot control, but it plays the most important role in your life. You can’t stop it, you can’t rewind it, nor can you forward it. The dial has its own pace. Use it wisely or die.
Follow this:
→ Invested Time are actions that compound:
- Reading
- Exercising
- Mindfulness
- Relationship building
→ Spent Time are actions that don’t.
Time is either Invested or Spent. Prioritise investing your time.

Social Wealth
“Relationships, Relationships, Relationships.”
The quality of your relationships has a greater impact on your happiness and longevity than any other factor.
Follow this:
List Core Relationships — partner, family, friends
Categorise them into
- Supportive
- Absent
- Inconsistent
Focus on strengthening Supportive ones.
Absent ones don’t cause any harm. Let them be.
Avoid Inconsistent relationships. They are toxic.
Mental Wealth
“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.”
— Mahatma Gandhi
Curiosity is the foundation of your Mental Health. The ultimate hack for your mental health is to have a growth mindset.
Follow this:

Categorise them into
- Energy-creating
- Energy-draining
Identify zones
Genius: Creates energy, and you’re competent in these pursuits.
Hobby: Creates energy, but you’re less competent.
Danger: Drains energy, but you’re competent. Avoid this zone.
Physical Wealth
“Move a lot, eat healthy, sleep well.”
Movement, Nutrition and recovery are the three pillars of your Physical Wealth.

Income generation, expense management and Long-term investment are the three factors of Financial Wealth.
Follow this:
