There's a spark in you, which unlocks almost everything in your life.
This spark can change your life.
Free education is abundant, all over the internet. it’s the desire to learn that’s scarce.
—Naval Ravikant
It was the day I left my hometown to study. A 19-year-old kid from his town is getting into college on his own. While travelling, I was fueled with a mysterious type of motivation. It was energetic.
I wondered about space, roaming between the planets. I thought that I had achieved something, but I wanted to do more. I wanted to learn more, dive deeper into knowledge, know more about myself, know more about the world, and know more about this life thing.
It all started with a spark. A spark that led me here and further.
Today, we will discuss this spark that is within you as well. Let’s go.
The spark I was talking about.
When I had two options to choose from, either a family business or college, I knew one thing: college would give me my own thing, which I haven’t discovered yet, but joining the family business would take me no further. I knew I would get stuck in that business.
Do you understand what spark I am talking about?
No, tell me. I am curious about it. You say
You said it yourself—curious!
I was curious about college and other required things.
This curiosity is the spark I was talking about, which is in all of us.
Let’s talk about it more.
The never-ending game.
In ancient times, from the Stone Age, humans like us were curious. Their curiosity led to incredible discoveries, ending up inventing firestones. Like firestones, many other inventions were made to improve the world and humankind.
Curiosity, the spark, was always been there in us. Humans work with curiosity, live with curiosity, survive with curiosity, eat with curiosity, move from one place to another with curiosity, and do all other things because of curiosity.
As curiosity is everywhere, why do we lack it? Being curious is everything, but still, we end up doing things that our curiosity never allows us to do. We fake being curious, and faking it makes us miserable.
Still, the question comes: Why do you lack curiosity?
I bet you to unlock your spark.
The most common reason I’ve learned people lack curiosity is that they find it a waste. Waste, in a sense, being curious doesn’t matter to them at all. But the most beautiful part of curiosity is that it is everywhere in us, which means you are curious about nothing but something every single time you think. It’s just that you are not aware that you are curious about nothing but something.
The bet: Follow your curiosity. It can be reading a book you have shelved, watching that video or movie you’ve saved for later, going to that new mall, or just going outside to explore things.
The key here is not to be curious but to be curious and know about it.
How can this spark change one’s life?
Only this spark, that is being curious, can change one’s life. Your curiosity can change your life like you have wanted for years. I won’t tell you to be curious about this and that. But I will tell you to be curious about nothing but something. Curiosity is like a fuel; you put it in your brain. It's just that fuel never burns. It stays forever.
Here’s a challenge to take a step in changing your life:
Educate yourself.
Follow your instincts; follow what you're up to. What are you looking for? What is it that you want to learn about? Do it and take the step to start changing your life.
By the way, what is scarce in you?
Curiosity: The desire to seek out knowledge and learn how things work.
Yes, curiosity is the scarcity. In today’s world, everything is found easily all over the world. You can easily buy things through your phone and search for anything all over the world. I won't tell you to stop doing this, instead, you should show gratitude for the privilege you are experiencing. But these things are stopping you from being curious. Don’t let it do that. Find out your way to be curious about.
Ask Yourself:
What’s my desire?
What knowledge am I interested in?
How can I know how things work?
Find out things and stay curious about them lifelong. Then only you can change your life like you have ever wanted.
Let the spark spark in you.
